Theresa | 15664 comments This was wonderful! I loved reading all the details from the various perspectives, such as the pilots while in the air, the Newfie volunteers, the passengers. One of my favorite stories is the Rabbi's. Another the two girls in the tent, another the one star general, and the CEO of Hugo Boss, and the people from the Rockefeller Foundation.

I expected lots of tears, and I did go through a lot of tissues. I did not expect to actually relive my own 9/11 quite so closely. Every time in Day 1 a time was given, I remembered exactly where I was, what I thought and felt, what I was doing. In short, I was in NY, in my midtown office tracking down family and friends, transmitting messages between family members, and providing shelter for a friend who was evacuated from across the street from WTC and because Manhattan was completely locked down, could not get home.

It was a welcome catharsis.
