Brandon Springer That question isn't quite as accurate as I'd like to be. What I want to know is this: Which parts of Crush It stand up just as well today as when he wrote it (2009)?

And which parts do you think are outdated?

Chris Brinkley Twitter is a lot harder than when it wrote the book because it is so noisy. While Wordpress is good I think it's not as important as it use to be. Flickr I don't think is that big like it was made to be in the book as well as Ustream.tv since youtube has just dominated that market since.

Moe The main takeaways that I got from this book is that you could monetize anything if you have the passion for it. The use of social media to promote your skills still applies to today, just different mediums. Snapchat, Instagram, and Twitch are new social media platforms that exist now that didn't back in 2009 -- he also mentions the importance of the digital era and how easy we have it now to eb entrepreneurs because of the internet.
