As fall is here, what is your favorite part of the season?


For me is the cooling down of the days, the colors changing and all the festivals in the area :D

Definitely cooler weather! Plus there are some great festivals here too. My clogging group is always invited to perform at a fundraiser in October for the Methodist Boys Ranch in Gore, Oklahoma and it's always a lot of fun. We have a twice-a-month bluegrass festival that starts in October and runs through May that is always fun to attend. Plus a BIG bluegrass festival in October with national bands. (Can you tell I like bluegrass?) I've got something going every weekend from now until the end of October, no slowing down!

I love the Fall weather,here in South Central Texas, is not really the same(it stays green all year round), but the cool fronts that do come down from Canada around November, do cool us off some! It is a relief from the everyday high 90 degrees, sunshine day! Sometimes, I travel upstate to enjoy the real Fall weather, with it's beautiful changing colors on the trees-taking walks along tree lined streets,so much cooler weather, visiting pumpkin farms, and apple orchards! Love it!

Jamie I lived in Texas in the 80's and in 88 we moved to PA. I remember how I enjoyed the cooler days. We are getting them here already. And around the 15th of October will be our peak for all the hardwood trees leaves turning colors...it is just beautiful.
