The most important event to have happened so far is that a new teacher has arrived to Spence School, Miss McCleathy. This is the most important event because Miss McCleathy is the replacement of Miss Moore and everyone is starting to talk about how and why Miss Moore got kicked out.This event affects the main character because it was her and her friends fault that Miss Moore got kicked out of Spence but no one else knows it. This event affects the plot because Miss McCleathy is already showing she is going to be a strict teacher.

The most important part so far that I have read is that LaVaughn's old friend has moved back and she is extremely in love with him. on the other hand her friends are really into Jesus and God and believe that she should stay away from guys and stay safe.

Mortmain has send a letter to the London Institute telling them to trade Tessa for the medicine for James. This is important because now the shadow hunters are going to do anything to protect Tessa and they are going to look for Mortmain to destroy him.

This event affects the main character because the players are racist so they dont let him join in the team to play soccer.

the most important event that happened was that a guy name Ethan met a girl in his dreams its kinda weird then next day they meet in real life after a time they become something else .this affect the main character because by falling in love with this girl some of his plans to move got ruin because now he doesn't want to move he want to be with her. well this thing doesn't affect the plot a lot it makes it more interisting.

The biggest even that has happened so far in the novel is her life changing "mistake." So far in the story she is explaining her life at home and at school. at home her father doesn't talk to her and at school they make fun of her. she only has two really close friends that are dating one another.
