Roger Martensson | 30 comments Trying to understand the policy you have when talking about 2-in-1 books.

I've understood that you should insert the titles in the same order as shown on the cover (and same order for Authors) but what I don't know what to do when one book in a boxed set is part of series.

What should I do then?

Z-squared | 8576 comments It's hard to answer hypotheticals, and including a concrete example would probably get you a better answer. However, usually it is policy to go ahead and add the box set to a series page as a non-primary work with the corresponding series number(s) for the book(s) in the set. That way users can be clear when an omnibus contains an entry in a given series. It is also possible to attach multiple series to given book record, so if the box set has other books that belong to other series, those can be added as well.

Roger Martensson | 30 comments Thank you for your answer. I read the long article about adding books and it didn't say explicitly that you could add the boxed set to one or more series.

when I think about it it sounds logical that you could add the series.

thanks again.
