I have finished my October Pick it for Me book. It was THE UNDERTAKING OF TESS by Leslie Kagan which Fiona picked for me. I truly enjoyed this book as I have never read anything like it before. This is my review of it.

THE UNDERTAKING OF TESS is a brilliant and haunting tale of the Finley sisters (Tess and Birdie) in their quest to maneuver through an unpredictable world. Their world is plagued by loss, guilt and in the end growth. Tess has her trusty to-do list, which keeps her "on track" and she is determined to keep her sister (who is mentally challenged) safe and face all the challenges that come her way.

This book is told in the view point of a child which makes it a reading challenge at times but endearing all the same. I cannot wait for "The Resurrection of Tess Blessing", which is the upcoming novel and companion to "The Undertaking of Tess".

finished my book White Picket Fences.i didn't like it but finished it anyway, i was looking for a Q author for my A to Z author challenge and found this at my local library book exchange. But the book was sooo not for me, sex, language and homosexuality... Will not be reading this author or super romances again lol

i have had alot of things going on these past few weeks i will not be able to do the book sorry

I hope things will get better for you. We just had a death in the family. Our neice and nephew's grandma just went to heaven last night. Her battle with cancer is over.
