five feet apart.
Going into this book, I was not sure what I was going to think or even write this review. I was not sure if I was going to like the book or end up regretting getting it. I can proudly say that I absolutely did not regret it. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Is it as good as The Fault In Our Stars? Hell no. Nothing can beat Fault In Our Stars. That book is a pure masterpiece of emotion but Five Feet Apart is a super close twin. Its not as hard on emotion as Fault In Our Stars. Its warmer. More happier. Heartfelt. Not saying Fault In Our Stars is not but the emotion written in Five Feet Apart is a different kind of tragedy.
While reading Five Feet Apart, I feel I have learned alot more on Cystic Fibrosis and how it affects those with it and those around them. I loved the fact it was 2 people narrating their own side of the story because you really got to feel how they felt. How it was hard for them to watch their family see them go through CF. On how they cannot touch another person with CF even if they are their lover, best friend, or someone needing comfort.
While reading Five Feet Apart I felt like I was Stella and Will. The characters were so well written that you can imagine them. You felt like you were them.
The detail described in the writing of Five Feet Apart is why I gave this book 4 stars. Just short of 5 stars. A must read.
