SOLVED. Zombie female is main character. [s]

when people die and are buried, some of them come back.
the main character is a female who comes back as a zombie. She finds other zombies to live with.
she can hear the other zombies thoughts.
she can't talk, only grunt.
she misses her sister.

There was something about music and the zombies "create" their own music with each other inside their heads and do a kind of zombie dance.

I know it all sounds so messed up, but it was a pretty good book!
I read it a few years ago.
