When is the next one out? I snagged it but idk if I want to start reading a series that is projected to have ten more books with each one apearing every three years.

The second one just came out earlier this year, and he has begun working on the third one. Sanderson has stated that he will attempt to have the gap between each book be no longer than 18 months to 2 years. Another nice thing is that, despite it being a ten book series, they are going to be two five book story arcs. So I think we will get some closure for somethings at book 5. Also, they are amazing books. I would definitely recommend not waiting to start them.

Yikes, that's still a fifteen-twenty year investment. I think I'll wait a bit before jumping in then, maybe till the first arc is complete.

On the Words of Radiance tour Sanderson said he wanted to catch up a bit and hopes to have book 3 out in late 2015.
