Hey, I'm looking for a reading buddy! I really like science fiction and dystopian fiction, but I'm always looking to branch out into different genres. Is anyone looking to do any buddy reading this Summer?

I am pretty open to a lot of different things (as long as the writing is good lol) but so far haven’t liked a dystopian book or anything with robots. I have been reading Vampire Academy and I’m loving it! Honnestly just let me know what you wanna read and I’ll read it with you guys (unless it’s like 1000 pages lol)
Vampire academy, I still want to read that someday. It seems like a pretty nice series. Aside from that I don't really have something on my to read list. Do you guys have a book you would like to read? I'd love to read it with you.
Yea Vampire Academy is pretty good, I’m at the 5th book. I’m pretty open but if tou guys wanna read it soon then it can’t be too popular because I borrow ebooks from an app and some really popular books are on a waiting list of weeks to months. What book did you wanna read?

I just took a look! I guess we kinda like the same kind of books. I unfortunately don't have such a list at this moment. I'm pretty new to goodreads and I haven't added much of the books I read or that I want to read.
I don't really have a book that I want to read right now, I just read a whatever book I come across (As long as they seem interesting and I really like if there's a bit of fantasy in them). Do you have something you want to read?
Btw, I just saw that you have The mortal instruments series on your to read list. That's a book that's kinda on my to read list for some time, so we could try that one? If you want something else that's totally fine too!
I would love to read the mortal instruments with you! The only thing is that I will only get the book in 10 weeks :( If you want we can read something else before that

It really sucks that you have to wait 10 weeks before getting The mortal instruments. But we could always read it then! You mean the Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern? I'm okay with that, the book looks interesting.
