Group of kids live in a local motel during the week as they live too far away to drive each day, ranging in age from Freshman to Seniors, the oldest finds a blue convertible car in the hotel garage and the lady that owns the hotel gives it to him and he fixes it up.

the oldest is in charge of keeping the younger kids on track with school etc. he is also trying to be more popular in school and be part of the in crowd.

He eventually falls in love with one of the girls in his hotel group after many mishaps at school.
