I'm not sure what team I'm on anymore. Like I would be happy if Aelin chose Rowan or Dorian.

I think the only way I will want Rowan and Aelin together is if either she becomes immortal, or Rowan becomes mortal somehow. Because then Rowan will have to endure her death eventually.

I'm in agreement with you, it would be very sad. Or maybe if Celaena end with Rowan and she doesn't become immortal Sarah could write an epilogue like the one in Clockwork Princess. :'(

And shatter our hearts once more! I think, maybe with the wyrdkeys, she can make Rowan immortal? In the vision by Narrok in HOF, it says that she could be immortal with the power of wyrdkeys. I'm sure Rowan wouldn't mind being mortal since he's seen the world and rather old. I also would really want her to mend things with Chaol and have him be happy too... BUT, we've had many heartbreaks before so I'm expecting more.

Rowan is already immortal and once Aelin and all of them destroy the towers and restore magic Aelin will be immortal too. But saying that I still don't really want these two to end up together. Just my opinion.

I'm in agreement, personally I think that exist more probability of she end with Chaol (If he doesn't die) and for Rowan I hope he will be part of Aelin's court.

We'll know for sure in QoS, but I think Sarah will pull a Cassandra Claire and make Aelin end up with Chaol first, like Tessa and Will, and then once Chaol dies she'll get together with Rowan (Tessa and Jem).

Since this is a Celaena x Rowan thread, I'll keep my opinions on it to myself ☺️

I feel absolutely stupid for asking this or pointing it out, but I didn't know that Aelin was immortal. I always thought that maybe she was since she's not Demi-fae, but Rowan mentioned in HOF that the cadre wouldn't want her because she would soon be decrepit and old. So.. She is or isn't immortal? (I feel like the worse fan out there for not seeing this lol). Even so, I doubt she would want the immortality with how much she's had to bear in losing, and Rowan may want out of it too.

Jessica, it still hasn't been confirmed in the books if Aelin is immortal or not, but I believe she is. Sarah said this will be adressed in the future.

Maybe she'll have to embrace either her fae side completely or her human side. Whichever she likes most (could boil down to Chaol or Rowan). But we don't know if either ship has sunk yet?

As of right now, my theory is that neither ship will sink. Aelin will be with Chaol for as long as he lives and then move on to a romance with Rowan.

I think the original plan was for her to end up with Chaol, but Sarah loves Rowan so much that I find improbable that she won't turn him into a love interest.

Agree. And yeah, as far as I understand, if Aelin is in her fae form, she can keep her inmortality. The reference of "decrepit and old enough...." I think is because in that part of the book, Aelin hadn't embrace her fae side, she used to bacome human once her tranning day finished.

Well, the review doesn't give away (from what I read cause I skimmed a lot) any big plot points/character deaths etc. But it does give a way certain spoilers that basically everyone wants to pull their hair for.
