I'm Rowin shiper, though my second option is Chaol, I think that Aelin has never ever said "I love you" to anyone, not out loud I mean, so "I claim you" and "to whatever end" is the closes she has been to really face her feelings for somebody else, I mean, to say it. So I think that's huge... And even more important than we could think

I agree that they make an absolute badass team, but I'm not sure if I ship them yet. At the moment, I think they have a great platonic relationship but I don't know if it'll go further. That being said, I won't be disappointed if Rowan is endgame, I just think she needs to sort out her issues with the other guys first.

I 100% agree Rosine!!!! I think rowan and aelin make a great team and they truly understand one another but i dont know if them being anything romantic would help. i mean sometimes aelin will say that she feels nothing sexual or romantic towards rowan even when they sleep in bed together. but then again, i didnt see chaol and aelin getting together till crown of midnight. sarah j. maas just hints little details that backtrails you onto another direction before going a completely different route! she's tricky like that which makes the series 10x BETTER!! i mean, who saw aelin being (view spoiler)[ queen of terrasen and fae?? (hide spoiler)]

yeah yeah! when we first meet rowan i HATED him! aelin is just drowning in her tears and rowan is suffocating her even more...aND then we learn his story about his mate and im like, "AWH BABY...you and aelin..y-you both got y-your hearts b-broken..." they are like complete reflections of one another and i love how their friendship just blooms. but yes, i would like them to stay platonic. aelin needs to heal and rowan is right there for her!

Agreed, plus Chaol is Dorian's best friend, and assuming Dorian survives to take his father's place, the only people left to support him are him Mother and Hollin, which isn't saying much. Aelin has Rowan, who is bound to her by blood oath. they're also, (what's the word,) carranom? She also has Aedion should he survive. He and Aelin will remain friends, but i think Chaol will always stay loyal to Doirian. Team Rowan it is.

I think Chaol's inconditional love will stay forever with Dorian, and it goes over everything! That's great, is the kind of friendship everybody would like to have. However that's also a kind of obstacle between he and Aelin.

Okay, here's the thing about Rowan and Celaena. Don't get me wrong I love them both, but I think they have more of a best friend relationship than lovers. I feel that Celaena and Rowan are like Celaena and Dorian, better as best friends. I wouldn't mind if they were together, but I just don't see it.

Celaena and Rowan? Umm YES! I really hope that they will end up together.. get married, have lots of pretty fey babies while they rule over the whole kingdom.
But so far in every single book there was a new love interest.. in the 1st book there was Dorian.. in the 2nd one there was Chaol.. and then in Heir of fire we got Rowan (thank God) ..so who knows?! maybe the next book will reveal yet another potential love interest

I totally agree! I think they are just so perfect for each other and I feel like no one will ever understand Celaena as well as he does <3 I really hope they end up together in the series

Ikr I would be jealous too! In Heir of Fire the parts that had Rowan in them were the ones I looked forward to the most cuz I love his character lol
