only those who have read the complete series(plus, minus different POV novellas)others may see spoilers after TRUTH
the author has brilliantly executed every action and motivation behind each of every character, especially Claire's charm over the men....but harry's attraction to Claire looked more in-congruent than natural
because, Anthony Rawlings was obsessed with Claire for years and fell in love with her somewhere in between the time when he was not motivated by his revenge. Philip roach admired and loved Claire from that point onward when she outwitted him.i mean there are few who could charm and outwit him and its a valid reasoning
but harry ditched his whole career in a way by jeopardizing it due to his attraction to Claire looks too forced by the author ...i mean he may have a type in choosing women but he always preferred his career over women and suddenly he doesn't??author could have done without the physical and emotional intimacy(in harry's head alone)part i think... ...

Claire seems to captivate all the male characters in some way, some more then others. Harry never realy had a chance with Claire, she was never that into him other than the fact that she only wanted someone to scratch that itch for her after being cellabit for two years in prison. Harry was not dominant enough for her.
