I hope she doesn't because I still want to read the books... unless Queen of Shadows is badly written and how much of a brat Aelin turns into.

I heard that she goes back to her bratty self from the first book but some much worse. I hope not! She's one of the strongest female characters out there!

I don't know, there're a thousand people outside that just wanna screw up with spoilers, bad comments, lies and even more just in order to give troubles to the author and ruin all the sales. It use to happen, you know that the authors give us some quotes or little spoilers to their social networks or to the editorial website. For examole City of Heavenly Fire, each spoiler was certificated by Cassandra Clare. Perhaps I'm wrong but as far as I know, Sarah has just given the fandom some quotes, interviews and the first 3 chapters, everything else is not that trustworthy. I know we all want QoS so so badly, but we shouldn't take points like I don't like Aelin, or I don't like Chaol I don't want him/her with.
First, cause is not worhy.
Second cause we are not giving value to Sarah's work.
Third, cause that talks really bad about us like readers. We should let the author surprises us. Then, if we don't like After reading, we can take whatever choices we want.

By the way, this isn't about giving those people the chance of ruining the book and sometimes the author reputation.
Let's just wait and read, even if the wait is miserable

Spoilers about chaol have destroyed my entire view and excitement of QOS.

I really don't want SJM to ignore the character development Aelin and chaol went through in HOF (because both of them had major and necessary character development), and I'm worried that she will.

I'm definitely going to be in a state of panic until I've fully completed QOS (then the way things are going I see myself in rage mode)

I think everyone is just WAY TOO EXCITED about this book and it's getting to them. I'm not taking anything as canon or completely true until I have QoS in my hands. I really hope people don't hate on Sarah because this is a great series and CLEARLY we are all thinking about it constantly if we're on here reading and discussing feelings basically everyday lol! And idk if anyone has mentioned this way back in the thread or not but I'm currently rereading HoF and when Manon goes to the Spiders for their silk, the Spider tells Manon that a "Wine colored hair" Girl overthrew the last High King. Does anyone else think this is TOTALLY ANSEL? Her and Manon will probably face off at some point! xD

Yeah it's not that... it's all because of reviews coming out and some are a little biased I heard (or did I read it wrong) and people are getting spoiled.

I don't get why people want to read spoilers though, they are out of context and we don't have the whole book to explain ANYTHING that's happening. It's just foolish to get so upset over rumors and biased reviews because someone may or may not have read the actual book early and is mad that it's not EXACTLY what they wanted....well I mean come on there are 2 books left so not all of our questions and outcomes are going to be fulfilled yet! I haven't read any spoilers so I can't say how I feel about their content, but I really think I'm going to like QoS no matter what.

I only have a FB so I don't have to worry about those things, lol. I've tried to steer clear of anything since people have been talking about spoilers blowing up for the past few days. And Celaena/Aelin was always a slightly self proclaimed brat, but I can't imagine her being all whiney and immature, she's not like that and I don't see why SJM would suddenly make her so annoying. Maybe that was someone's opinion because there were upset about possibly Rowaelin happening in QoS (this spoiler unfortunately I have kind of seen hints of) :P

I seriously can't stand myself right now I'm so excited for this book…this is like being a 5 year old in anticipation of Santa's presents. I'm not even sure I was this excited for the Harry Potter books and i went to at least 3 or 4 midnight release parties for those books. And as the days get closer I'm almost dreading them cuz I know I'm gonna read this book so fast I'll have like 363 days until the next release! I'm praying Sarah has the characters stay true to themselves and that no one major dies in this book, although I am really worried about Chaol and Aedions fate. I actually am more worried about Aedion…Aelin has so many freaking protectors that I'm worried Sarah be like, eh he's expendable.

I am not assuming or believing anything until I read the actual book. I wish to decide for myself. As people say, this isn't even the final book so anything can happen after it. I absolutely can't wait for the book, but I am waiting until it comes out in stores and I have it in my hands, no time before.

I'm so excited for the new book, I'm am going to avoid tumblr like crazy because of the spoilers that they post up there. Ahaha fingers crossed for Rowan and Aelin to end up together and for Aelin/Celaena to continue to be badass as usual. I don't really have any worries for the part about Aelin/Celaena because Sarah J. Maas will not let us down.

In that chaol and Aelin scene, I think they both brought up really good arguments, but I was kind of leaning more on chaols side **QOS spoilers** because I agree with his decision to not tell Aelin about the towers. I really don't think he should because as Chaol stated, Aelin is really unpredictable and we can't be sure what she'll do with that knowledge (I also personally think adarlan is better off without magic because, if the world was even once again and a war erupted I think adarlan would easily fall, because adarlan is one of the countries with the least amount of magic, and has people that fear magic or are not used to it. So they would be at a HUGE disadvantage. Unless they had the magic wards up around their country only. Then they at least have a chance)

Priya, yes! Aelin is completely unstable and unpredictable. If she doesn't change during the book, I don't know how she is going to make it into a good queen.
