To be a series on Goodreads, books need to have more than a common theme -- like characters in common, an overarching storyline, a shared universe, etc. What makes this a series?

All the books are set in the same world, secondary characters in previous books get their own story, I should remember to say this when I post so you don't need to ask me to confirm its a series!
