The Fog by James Herbert would be a Halloween book.
I'm afraid I'm bowing out of this one. Casper the Friendly Ghost is about as spooky as I go.
"Something Wicked this Way Comes" by Ray Bradbury. Really quite creepy!
It was a tough choice between two Novels, but this one is a classic King story I think everyone will enjoy.
Get the movie after you read the book. You will love it!

I nominate The Shining by Stephen King because it's a classic from my youth and I also have just bought it and it's sequel Doctor Sleep.

Sholund I also just bought Doctor Sleep, not realising I don't own The Shining, I've only ever seen the film. Must remedy this ASAP.
