Caitlin (bookchats) | 31 comments I recently noticed a new author seems to have been added to several books and/or prioritized to show first in searches for those books. This new author does not appear on retail sites or in library catalogs for the books I spot checked.

It looks at least one of the books Surviving Adam Meade was originally published on wattpad so maybe this is a wattpad penname?

Either way it honestly seems like a mistake but I don't know it's a mistake so I am mentioning it here.

lethe | 16359 comments That book has a librarian note on it saying that the pen name should be primary on all editions, so I suppose it's all right.

Emily | 17605 comments It was first published under the pen name. Goodreads policy is that subsequent editions are always published with the first author in the first spot, and other names appear second.
