The story of what happened during Taya’s rescue from the Taliban took a while to be revealed. Did that work for you?

[Anita]

I always want to know "why" sooner rather than later. I'm impatient like that. It really worked the way it was reveled a little at a time and I was hooked.

[Jonetta]

I think it took a little too long and didn’t understand why it had to be dragged out. It was near the 40% mark before we got the whole story. I would have much preferred more detail regarding her capture, captivity and rescue.

I was pretty bored with the whole book by that point. If it was revealed earlier maybe I wouldn’t have checked out.

I was getting bored too, Laura. It should have been revealed earlier to hold our interest. It picked up greatly after the 40-45% mark. Whenever I speed up the audio to 2X which I did with this one until about 50%, I know I'm getting bored...

I thought it was maybe just me. It seemed like all they were doing was moving her around. You turn up the speed I skim pages lol.
