Matt DeLuca had concerns about Nate based on his risky behavior with women. Do you think he handled it the right way?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Yes, I think he handled it the right way. When these guys hold not only their lives but the lives of others in their hands, the boss has an obligation to make sure they are healthy, both physically and mentally. Matt was concerned not only for Nate but the team and he wanted Nate to have a chance to straighten up and get control of his problem.

I thought his approach was light handed, asking for feedback from team members. Even though they knew Nate was dealing with something, they never felt his behavior put them at risk. If they had, they would have given Matt some kind of indication. I thought DeLuca handled it appropriately and by letting Nate know, it made him think more seriously about dealing with his anxiety.

Laura Light handed is the right word. It seemed to me that the team was asked to babysit and keep an eye on him and that was about it. There wasn’t really action taken but that. That was enough at that time.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Nate's conduct, in his private life, was no one's business but his own. When it is noted and becomes locker room fodder it becomes the Teams problem.
