Book's series has been made part of the title

The title is listed as "I Have Sinned (Bunny McGarry, #2)".

The "Bunny McGarry, #2" part should be the series and not part of the title.

Having series information in the title line is just fine. Whether it's there or not, the books still has to be added to the series by a librarian.
