Iris So are any of you guys interested in the fact that this novel is becoming a Broadway Play? I just found out, and although I didn't like the book too much I'm intrigued. I think this will be a very unique Stage Experience.

What do you think? Is it an inspired idea or a fool hearted endeavor?

Marci It might depend on the approach they take. I think part of the charm is that it is told by an autistic narrator, and if they don't strive to keep that element of it, then it just seems like any other play.

Haven't seen it myself but the play has won lots of awards. More info is here:

Brenda Clough I was in London last month, for the World Science Fiction Convention. Couldn't get tickets for this, since it was sold out, but a friend saw it and said it was great.

Dramapuppy I haven't seen it but I'd like to. There's no way it could keep the charm the books holds. Marci, I can't think of a way to make it real. The whole point is Chris's view of the world. It would be like writing the book in third person. It would be really fun to view though, if they didn't make it stupid.
