I am definitely in! I just finished reading The House of Hades yesterday.

Aww I envy you all, that you get to read it on or close to the release date!

Definitely. Leo is quite funny too but he's no Percy

Awww I feel for you. My old boss let me read away when there was no customers in but as soon as the kindle was brought out someone was guaranteed to walk through the door
Sarah, that scene was really great! I also giggled quite a bit!
Is it just me, or does something feel off about this book. It's not like the other books in the series. I can't put a finger on it though.
I felt like this at the beginning, but now it's better. The original series is loads better, though.
I love Reyna, she is amazing!!

On page 159 now. My heart just melts for Nico, love that little son of Hades. (Not a spoiler btw)
I'm on page 149. And I have a special fondness for Nico too, bless his tortured soul. Loving Leo, too.
I get that Riordan decided to give the other characters the spotlight for this one, but with it being the last, I think he could have at least thrown in a couple of chapters from Percy's POV. I reckon I'm gonna miss him the further I get into it :/
Yeah I was quite annoyed that we don't get a Percy POV, I'm missing him already

Nico and Reyna were absolutely amazing. I also loved Piper!

I've finished the Jason chapters and have started the Reyna chapters!! I've missed this crew. I can't wait to see what happens. I hope Nico is going to be able to make it! Shadow traveling takes so much out of him!! I can't wait to see Percy!!!!!!!
Little over half way through. I am seriously tempted to skip to the end. I need to know what happens.
I've finished and I loved it!(view spoiler) I've got to say I think my favorite chapter was fourteen when Nico and Hades have their father-son chat. It was so adorable and just made me so happy!!!!
Also I really loved Reyna and Nico. Their dynamic was awesome. I loved how they were able to slowly get each other to talk and confide in one another. They both really needed it!

The demigods are having more frequent visions of a terrible battle at Camp Half-Blood. The Roman legion from Camp Jupiter, led by Octavian, is almost within striking distance. Though it is tempting to take the Athena Parthenos to Athens to use as a secret weapon, the friends know that the huge statue belongs back on Long Island, where it "might" be able to stop a war between the two camps.
The Athena Parthenos will go west; the Argo II will go east. The gods, still suffering from multiple personality disorder, are useless. How can a handful of young demigods hope to persevere against Gaea's army of powerful giants? As dangerous as it is to head to Athens, they have no other option. They have sacrificed too much already. And if Gaea wakes, it is game over.
