The ending was a bit too perfect, but it was nice. Still, this was a really long book where I felt like almost nothing happened (except for the last 50 pages). I guess I'm taking some time from Rick's books. (hide spoiler)]

I mean, I know they fought giants and other monsters the whole book, but with Gaea it was supposed to be something epic. Leo "sacrificed" himself and all, but still... I like the fact that both camps are finally in peace, but with Apollo's series coming maybe they'll have some more fights and quests (or maybe it's just about Apollo, idk). Overall, I enjoyed the book more than I thought I would :) (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I didn't fully understand how the Roman sides of the gods didn't appear at all, but maybe it was because the Greek forms were their true forms? Since Roman mythology was heavily taken from the Greeks, the gods were purely Greek first I guess, so maybe they were stronger in that form? (hide spoiler)]

Yea I hoped for some POVs of his too, because he kinda just felt like a side character now. But I get he wasn't the main focus of the book, as it seemed Riordan was trying to give Leo, Piper, Reyna, and Nico some time in the spotlight. (I'm aware Jason had POVs too, but Nico and Reyna never really shared their stories, and Piper was always pushed aside for being weak, and the POV gave her a chance to disprove that!)
