Welcome to GR & RRRC! I hope you get a chance to explore all the nooks and crannies here at RRRC. There definitely is a lot to look through!

As for MnG, we going to stick with the no latecomers policy. A new round should start up again mid November, so keep an eye out then. In the meantime, if you want a to try a mini-MnG version, there's always the monthly Pick It For Me. This month's signups are still open. So head on over there and check that out if you can!

hi Rachel - welcome to the group - feel free to also check out the Tournament that is going on right now - sign-ups close tonight - you read 2 books from pre-identified themes and pick which one (theme/story) is the best...our goal is to pick the best/most popular theme in romance today

Hi Ezi - I'll be sticking to the 2 month timeframe for the next one as well :) That is, Dec-Jan for the reading period. Our 2 month timefreame is short enough that opting out for one round won't be too painful ;) and remember, you only need to have read 5 books in the round to claim 'completion'.

Personally I read quite a few books over the Dec-Jan period because of all the holidays :)

alrighty. Finished all my picks for Group 1! still haven't heard from one person at all. If you're missing picks from me, let me know. If people in other groups are still missing picks by the end of the work week, let me know so I can start knocking on some doors. :D

I'll post the bonus list when I get back in a couple days. Now all we have to do is wait 'til October!

With Christmas shopping, I gotta pay attention so people don't steal especially on black Friday. they get really crazy at Walmart after thanksgiving dinner and football.
I prefer not to read and watch my bags :D

I've had people reach into my cart and take things. I was about to go crazy but I realized I live in Texas where everyone carries concealed hand guns. You just don't want that kind of trouble.
So I will start shopping next month to avoid the nut jobs.
