i remember they read this book allowd in 1st or 2nd grade. a story about a ice old lady who makes quilts, and the king wants one, and they go to arrest her or something, and she throughs it out the window? and also,in it he makes her stand on this tiny piece of land surrounded by water, and she's saved by birds?
