I was surprised that birdie was the one who actually killed Ricky. But also he was going to rape her sister and had already done horrible things to them. He deserved it. Lucian was such an asshole in the beginning and like he still is occasionally but I’ve started to like him and gypsy 🙈 I hate this book for making me like it. I’m pissed that Lucian is throwing away his life when his cancer is curable! Like wtf bitch what about gypsy and your friends!? Ugh he’s being awful to her. And she’s pregnant and he doesn’t even know this is some effed up shit. (hide spoiler)]

Ughh I've been struggling with this one, I keep putting it aside. Made it to about 30% and no longer can side with the heroine she's so unlikable lol. Hopefully I can get back in, mostly cause I want to read book 2 :)

That's hilarious because while I didn't love Gypsy I absolutely hate Lucian. So I did not enjoy his chapters one bit.

Wow lol we're total opposites on that front. I'm hoping I can at least make it through this one this month and maybe the next one but that's up in the air. If need be I'm down to read the second one next month early on, just let me know, though with my slow reading the thread should still be active by then lol

Well hot damn if I didn’t love this book in the end after all. Goodness almost 50% and I wanted to give up. So glad I kept on.

I think the whole thing was a little out there but this book with the character development alone has me beyond impressed. I’m also equally curious about Birdie’s book. I really don’t like her either but I did a 180 with Gypsy so I imagine somewhere in there I’ll like the real Birdie..... eventually lol (hide spoiler)]
