Sounds good. Let's start with The Things We Do for Love. I was planning on starting with that one if you don't mind. Sorry for the later response, I tend to post more on the weekends as the weeks are typically busy.
Okie dokie! Picking up The Things We Do for Love today. Totally understand busy weeks; this week has been terribly busy for me too and had impacted my reading as well. I'll look forward to your updates in the other thread created for The Things We Do for Love.
I finished this one too. I liked the setup of this story. As the brothers are on the adventure around the world, they look at the past and growing up. It was very enjoyable and you can see the struggles they faced to get where they are today.
@Ashley - I want to thank you for picking up this book for our buddy read, because if it hadn’t been for this buddy read, I would have never picked up a book by Nicholas Sparks. Having read some of his books before, I’m not a fan of him. But this one was such a surprise and I loved it. I loved how Sparks weaved two stories beautifully into one. The book was well balanced between tragedy, humour philosophy. Since I have a very close bond with my parents and sister, I kept on thinking about my own family whilst reading the book. This also served as a sweet reminder of my childhood, of the relationships I’ve shared in the past and how those have evolved or grown in the due course of time.PS: I’m also jealous of the world tour the brothers took. Got to plan a trip with my sister soon.

I am really close with my brother and we used to do a lot together, we still do just not as much.
I am also jealous of the world tour. That would be amazing. There are so many things to see in this world and so many places to go.

@Ashley - Hey, we are the sole participants for both Three Weeks With My Brother and The Things We Do for Love buddy reads. So, I thought we can discuss and decide the sequence; which one do you intend to pick up first? I’m okay with any of the two.
