Dewey's 24h Readathon August 2-3

Hi all,

I just found out that the Dewey's 24 hour Readathon is next weekend and I am considering to join! It would be a perfect start of my holiday.

It starts at Friday August 2. 8:00 PM EST and ends Saturday 3, 8:00 PM EST. For the Europeans here, this is Saturday 00:00 GMT to Sunday 00:00 GMT.

So, if I've checked this correctly through Google it's 8am (Western Australia time) on Saturday to 8am Sunday? I'm thinking about it.

Yes! Exactly 12 hours ahead of EST.

Thanks! Bit of a silly question - was trying to work it out whilst tired and suffering from a bad head cold.

I'm going to sign up - I don't know if I'll manage the full 24 hours but I can give it a go!

It it will start at 1AM CET... mmm I do not think I join this time. I prefer the 24 in 48 Readathons.... They are more fun for me and allow a bit more of flexibility

I don't think I will be able to read for 24h straight as well, but my aim is to read as much as possible Saturday.

Well I can't promise I will read that much since I already have plans for that day but it can be a good try. I have breakfast with a friend booked, that means that I will start around 11 or 12 hours after the official Readathon, but it is always a nice try will get register now! And do not get any other appointments
