SOLVED. The hero calls the heroine Fred, she’s always cold and bakes scones for the bar in which she meets the hero. He owns a business with two friends. [s]

SPOILER: he takes her to a mexican restaurant for her birthday and buys two shawls for her. One of his friends is his bodyguard and he has been receiving threats. The hero’s parents were killed and the only thing he has left from his mom are some pearls. The heroine’s parents were gypsies and left her with her brother, who later abandoned her.
