Hi there, I'm trying to add a video to my page but get a message saying that 'this author is on Goodreads and responsible for editing her own page'. I did just request that my two pages be merged (Tessa Smith McGovern and Tessa Smith-McGovern) which I'm told was done. Please advise? Thanks! Tessa

Your current profile is not an author profile. You must have claimed the author page with a different account. Use that account to add your video.
I'm confused, how would I find the different account? My computer logs me in via Facebook and I don't know what other account details to use? Sorry to be so dense...
Oh! Is it because Sourcebooks made the COCKTAILS FOR BOOK LOVERS page? In that case, I'd have to merge with that, is that possible?
I think what's happened is that my two pages have been merged and now I have no access to my author page - how do I get that? Thanks Tessa
This is a verified author page. A user account must be used to claim an author profile. Your current account is an ordinary user account. You must have claimed the author profile with a different user account meaning a different user name, password etc. Do you remember claiming this page: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... by clicking the "Is that you? Let us now." link on the page and getting a verification mail from goodreads saying your profile has been upgraded to an author profile? Or did you authorize anyone (your manager, publisher etc.) to claim it? Did you, yourself shelve those books on the author profile as read or currently reading?
