I really enjoyed this chapter, it definitely feels like they grew up a little bit. Even how they look in my imagination has changed a little bit. I liked it when they were kids and playing but I like it now too cause they're getting a better grasp at life. I think that Sáenz really does make us feel how they're feeling with all of this internal dialogue. I think if he was just describing the plot it would not be interesting at all. It's not unpredictable but that doesn't matter.

I think this chapter shows just how much Ari and Dante's friendship has changed. It feels like they're growing apart, but their lives are really intertwining here. Their dads going out, leaving Legs at their house, Gina and Susie meeting Dante, them kissing and being with each other naked are all things that solidify them being part of each other's lives. But now they're from each other the most. It's interesting.

The ending was predictable, but that is not the point I guess.

What we really get from this book is some deep strong themes that resonate with us for days after reading the book. Well at least that's what happened to me.
I really enjoyed this book.
