Since I'm probably going to be done with my first book for Countdown pretty quickly, I can pick up the last remaining task for the 1001 books list.

I'll go with Atonement, which is on page 24/25.

I'm half way through one of the Raven Tower books, and LORD is it dragging! So I knocked out the quick and cheerful (and deeply silly) Trouble in Texas for the state name

I started my mermen book (why do I always have troubles writing mermen without giggling?) and it's... interesting... lol... actually is a retelling of the little mermaid... so I'm not sure how well it's going to be... we'll see... if I'm not into it till later tonight, I'll switch to another silly O book.

it's not just mermen in that book, it's a dragon who fancies a merman! The little mermaid retelling is the least of the books issues!

A dragon that doesn't shift because he can't find his hoard. And they can only bond with their mates in dragon form... since bonding usually means sex... you might be right.

I have less than 100 pages to go in my book and I'm almost sure I'm going to finish that today. Once again I've been reading for most of the day instead of doing something productive :-p

Atonement is probably going to take me longer. There is a lot of block text in that one. If it becomes too tedious, I'll switch to something shorter so you don't have to wait for me.

As usual I'm struggling with my book. Dang. I blame Ilona Andrews and her Sapphire Flames release. It better fit the next safezone we're doing, just saying. Because the teaser I have read are making me itchy.

Now. Onto conquer work and my O book.

Hehe, I ordered that one as well but was a little late on the pre-order and they've run out of copies, so now I have to wait until mid-September before I can get my hands on Sapphire Flames! Oh well ;-)


I'm going to change my book! Atonement will take me ages to read and today is not a reading day and I may not get much reading done tomorrow... so just to prevent you guys having to wait for me, I'm going to pick something shorter. It'll either be #223 / page 6 The Call of the Wild or #129/page 4 Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (it's on the list so allowed anyway but I checked and it's 26435 words).
