The Gloaming
Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage
The Lost Children Archive looks good too!

Also on my to-read lists:
1. Near to the Wild Heart by Clarice Lispector
She was a Brazilian author in the 60s/70s and her work is getting new attention as it is being reprinted in translation. She is like Virginia Wolfe, in a way: stream of consciousness, feminist, etc. I have read several of her books in the past year and am smitten.

2. A Ladies Life in the Rocky Mountains by Isabella Bird
A rare woman "explorer" . She wrote about her travels to Japan and other places. This one's about our space.

3. The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead
This guy has won too many awards and I haven't read him yet

4. West with the Night by Beryl Markham
Woman pilot who flew a lot over and into Africa. Part of my African Stories Project.

I did read Reincarnation Blues and hated it. Haha. Started out loving it though. It was a strange one!
Underground Railroad is on my list too.
Underground Railroad is on my list too.

We'd love to do poetry in September so any suggestions for that one? Also, is there any interest in reading the Fort Collins Reads book The House of Broken Angels? The author will be in Fort Collins the first Sunday in November.

Also thirding (?) Underground Railroad.
