S. Aksah | 152 comments How do you guys like to read for pleasure? I love to read lying down on my back. I would only sit on a chair if it is for a serious reading, like a boring academic books or the broad newspaper.. I was told that it was not a good posture to be in..but I just love it.. I can spend hours rolling around..lol..

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments On the sofa - which reclines. No wonder I read so much. It's decadently comfortable!

Vanessa (aka Dumbo) (vanessaakadumbo) | 8459 comments Usually in bed, half sitting half laying on my side. Only problem is I get so comfortable I fall asleep easily. I can't read when I'm flat on my back holding a book or Kindle over my face.

I occasionally read when I'm sitting on my sofa but it's less comfortable. I've never read in the bath, to me that would feel weird.

kama Sutra? You mean the 2012 Top Gear Annual was the wrong book??? Dang it! So *That's* where I went wrong!

Lynne (Tigger's Mum) | 4643 comments Hmmmm after Darren's comment I just want to make it clear that when I mentioned the dog it had nothing to do with a sex manual.

Alas you are now forever typecast.
Your slow spiral to a life of sin and debauchery will be chronicled on this forum and preserved as a warning to others. Traveller, do not pass by unheeding; this sad tale could so easily be yours.
Sober readers will read your tale and despair, before switching off their machine with an ill-repressed shudder. They will sit staring at a darkened screen long into the night, as they silently bewail their own fate.
The rest will merely pass through in transports of hedonistic pleasure, blind and deaf to anything save their own frantic cravings.

Note that the above is actually a drabble coming in at exactly 100 words :-)

Philip (sarah) Willis | 4630 comments I sit on the chaise sofa in the sunroom with my feet up. I tend to have a jar of fruit pastilles and a tin of liquorice allsorts within easy reach and there must be absolute silence.
When Holly sees me collect my Kindle from the bedroom she automatically makes herself comfy in my space as she knows exactly where I'm going:@)

Because unlike some on this site, I have a high fibre diet, and thus, have no need to spend extended periods of time on the bog :)

Now that sounds like my fave place - actually managed a few lovely peaceful afternoons, feet up, in the conservatory, gently snoring with the kindle on my lap
