I'm going to start the "official" reading schedule for this book on August 4 since I have a much easier time keeping up with the schedule when the week starts on Sunday, however, I'll open the first discussion on 8/1.

Week 04 (08/25 - 08/31) Books VI & VII
Week 05 (09/01 - 09/07) Book VIII - (continue reading in the Cossette Volume)

*CATCH UP WEEK (11/10 - 11/16) - no new discussion will be posted, feel free to reply to prior weeks while catching up

Week 15 (11/17 - 11/23) Books VIII - XI
Week 16 (11/24 - 11/30) Books XII - XV

Volume - Jean Valjean
Week 17 (12/01 - 12/07) Book I

Would we like an extra week to discuss the book in its entirety? I can easily add that to the schedule.

Allison | 3 comments I own this book and it’s ‘bout time I got to it!

I love that the group has broken down the chapters/books for us....I like the idea of staying within those margins every week. Especially for this book....I think it’s length and some of the things I’ve heard about it would make me not want to read it straight through.

I’m excited to start!

Piyangie | 170 comments I'll be starting in a couple of days time. Pretty excited. I've planned to read this anyway this year. Glad I could do it with the group at a leisurely pace.
