Also, please tell me how to do this myself in the future. As the listed author of both the books and the series, how come when I click edit, I just get bounced to the homepage?

Book added to series; it could take awhile to show up on your author page as part of the series, but it's there.

Somewhere there is an Author Feedback thread, and I presume a manual of some sort. I'm not an author, so I don't know the answer, sorry.
