Emma's overflowing bookshelf challenge (of doom)

I am starting a challenge tracker with the intention of winnowing my bookshelf/-ves and curtailing my book-buying habit, and I am beginning with the framework discussed in the main challenge thread. I would like to focus on a few different... issues... I have, so I believe that a point system will work the best. Certain actions will add to my points and other actions (their opposites) will require me to spend points. If I read [and finish or give up on] a physical book on my shelves I will add 3 points to my total; to buy a physical book I will need to spend 9 points. Reading an ebook that I own will be worth 2 points, and buying an ebook will require 6 points. I get 1 point for reading a library (borrowed) book, but to take out a new loan will cost me 3 points. For now, I have set the negatives at triple the positives (eg buying a physical, owned book is worth 9 points or 3 x the points earned reading a physical, owned book), but I'm not sure these are the best numbers so I will reevaluate my system in roughly three months (unless I really can't stand it).

To recap:
+3 - read/discard physical owned book
+2 - read owned ebook
+1 - read library/KU book

-9 - buy physical book
-6 - buy ebook
-3 - borrow library/KU book

Free ebooks do not count in these calculations. (I'm operating under the assumption that I have virtually unlimited space for ebooks.)
