"I read a book (maybe 10-15 yrs ago) and I would guess that it was a YA book. I believe the main character was a teen boy that died (can't remember how) and I believe he was stuck in the apartment he lived in (perhaps with an uncle or grandpa?). I vaguely remember him being able to leave his apartment and at one point, he went to the graveyard nearby. He discovered he was dead and was adamant to learn how to move objects or communicate by writing in dust or closing a door. It wasn't a horror novel."

The other thread is now deleted but it only had one suggestion, Her Fearful Symmetry.

It was about a person who died (I believe they were younger but not much younger than a teen ) and their spirit was trapped in an apartment. They eventually figured out that the stronger their spirit got, the more easily they could communicate with people by doing little things like flipping a light switch, moving a book, etc. any thoughts?
There may have been a graveyard across the street. It wasn’t a horror book in any way.
