Heroine is captive/slave/servant/wife of bad man and hero rescues her

WRITTEN: 1990-present

PLOT: Heroine is the captive/slave/servant/wife/girlfriend of a bad man who abuses her. She stays because either she physically can't leave or feels trapped due to duty to a loved one or fear of the bad man. Hero rescues her. Bonus points if hero is also a 'bad' man but has a bit of softness left for the heroine. I do NOT want a book where the hero abuses the heroine.

One such book is Hate Me

I'd also like the book to be a stand alone or the first in a series.

I'm almost certain this is the book I'm thinking of. He's bad guy mobish and she's a trapped 'girlfriend/toy' her 'owner/boyfriend' is happy to share around. H is offered a go and he walks out with her, much to the other guys distress as he's not giving up his toy.
