I was at Barnes and Noble and came across this book, maybe the word “Connections” was in the title, the cover was very colorful. Almost like a spinning wheel and each color was a different person. The plot was that an app would essentially pair you with your soulmate. I can’t remember anything else about it for the life of me but am fully interested in the story. The employee told me the episode “Run the DJ” in Black Mirror is based on this book actually.. not sure how accurate that was since I am unable to find anything about it now.

Haven't read the book, I remember the cover cuz I just saw it recently and one of my students is reading it. So possibly....
