I had come up with that title when I was searching elsewhere but it kept leading to a tv series of the same name which had a completely different synopsis, and, it seems, nothing to do with the book.

Yeah, Dark Matter was a Canadian show based off a comic book series and they don’t have anything in common with the book you were looking for. (The show is pretty decent though!)
