Lunaia | 9 comments Hi everybody,
I'm collecting book recommendations that are about Europe as a whole, about the european idea or books that play in various european countries and that highlight the connection between them.

Phrodrick slowed his growing backlog Sight unseen i am only offering, I lack the read to make it more than a pointer:
Europe: A History
Yeah I know, not cheap. Certainly exactly what you have described

Lunaia | 9 comments Wow, that's even heavier than Geert Maks work @Phrodrick!
Maybe to specify: fiction is very welcome as well ;-)

Hi Diana, sure, you probably have more experience with this forum than I do. My intention was however, to make a threat in the same style as those for single countries. Over the years Europe has grown together so much, that in my eyes it is slowly becoming close to being one big country with it 's own parliament, a mingling population, and (mostly) without inner borders. Especially around the european elections last month many people talked about identifying as european and I think it's it worth trying to find books that reflect that experience. Maybe I should have explained that better in the introduction?

Sorry, Lunaia, I misunderstood. I am posting a thread for general European books and topics.
