Just saw your message. Sounds like a great idea, but unfortunately I don't have such a list. My books are with small publishers and I haven't done much promoting but put up a website.
I am going to try and launch a formerly self-published, out-of-print book with Publishizer. Maybe if I can generate a following with the Crowdfunder video that I am going to do, I might be able to help.

Maybe i should have read your book years ago, is there anyway i can get a sample copy as i would love to help, im a first time author with a book release May this year, im selling well and if i can support you i would love to. just mail me

Thank you June! If you email me I'd be happy to send a PDF so you don't have to purchase it. I'll be re-titling it as I said, so if you read and like I'd also appreciate a review... but only once I've re-launched the new version. My email is pkeresey@gmail.com.

I'm interested (more curious, and I'll use the word "interested"). I'd like to read your book before I commit further. You mentioned a PDF version above. If that's available, I'll give it a look.

Yes, I'd be happy to send you a PDF. Please email me at pkeresey@gmail.com. Thanks!

We are having a blast reading each other's books and I just got a surprise review too which is wonderful.
We welcome all Indie Authors once they have read the Mandatory Rules.

I was about to comment "Does anybody review a book simply because they enjoyed it anymore?" and saw your post. I'm a big fan of pay-it-forward. Just joined your group. Printing out the rules so I can review them (kidding!). Thanks.

Many novice authors are unaware that a regulation enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that any review obtained through direct solicitation, payment in the form of cash, gift card, free book, or promise of reciprocation must specifically state so at the beginning of the review.
Authors would benefit much more by focusing upon striving to continuously improve upon their basic writing and narration skills rather than obsessing over receiving ratings and reviews.

Just to be clear, I wasn't asking for a review of my book or a review swap. I was offering to promote another author's book in my newsletters and email marketing efforts (I have a 3000+ audience), in exchange for an equally-equipped author promoting mine to their (robust) audience.

I would be interested in uploading my book 'Steady as She Goes' for you to review. You can look it up on Amazon, it has got some very good reviews also on Goodreads. Let me know your thoughts on this. I can also promote your book on our local book club Scribblers.

Yes Colin I would review your book in exchange for your review of mine. John.

Oh good grief. So it doesn't bother you that review swaps are not only unethical, but a clear violation of both Amazon and Goodreads TOS? This is why readers are so distrustful of reviews these days :(

ONCE AGAIN: I'm not offering reviews or asking to exchange reviews. That is a violation of rules for this site and Amazon. I was looking for other authors with healthy email lists or social media followings to CROSS-PROMOTE. In other words, I'm willing to connect my own personal audience to another author's books, blogs, or publications if s/he will do the same with mine. NOT REVIEWS.

Priscilla, my newsletter list is at about 1600. I might be interested in cross-promoting. I have one book that specifically may appeal to your readers which is spiritual fiction. You can contact me directly.

Indeed they do, and yes it has, and yes some readers, at least, on this site, notice and are not amused.

Yep, and it’s pretty easy to spot. It’s gotten so bad I dismiss every “review” posted by an author unless I personally know that author is honest. Ditto those who only post positive reviews. So many reviews by author read like ad copy not an honest review, and aren’t very helpful.

I post a review for almost every single book I buy and read. However, I am an author who appreciates reviews and knows other authors do too. Readers are more interested in getting into their next book. If it's mine, I'm all for that.

I hope when you post reviews when you personally know the author you disclose that in the review. And you don’t post them to Amazon because doing so is a violation of Amazon TOS

You will still have to disclose your connection to the author.

I notice you failed to answer my question, which I believe gives us the answer. And the reason you do not is exactly the reason why you should.
