Science Fiction: Humans Posing As Robots

Watching the tv series "I'm Not A Robot" I was reminded of a romance novel I read in which a woman impersonates the robot that was made in her image in order to hide out from killers or something. It...wasn't great. But are there any other books in which a human being poses as a life-like android?

Laurann Dohner's Cyborg series has the heroine pretending to be a bot in Touching Ice I can't remember how long it goes on for before she gets discovered though.

I'll mention a movie ("Sleeper") and a song ("Mr. Roboto") that have that theme.

Stan Lem wrote some stories featuring humans disguised as robots, but I can't find a link at the moment.
