She looked at him sideways, pretending to be offended. "Please, I could destroy them, with my own two hands." she growled. "probably faster than you, too. I'm challenging you."

"good." She leaned against him, her arm slipping around his torso. "so, the next time we see an actual, real spider; whoever kills it first wins. Alright?" She nuzzled her face into his shirt, still walking.
She made eye contact with him, and it took all of her strength not to break it. Her cheeks flushed pink, and she convinced herself it was the cool crispness of the air. She pulled his head down to peck his lips, still walking. She felt it would be rude if they stopped, as there was another couple walking down the path slowly.
"Because you're cute and I like you." She hummed, continuing to walk. She pulled her hair over her shoulder, blushing.
She grinned, tracing her hand in small circles on the small of his back. His warmth had spread out throughout her entire body, and she hummed peacefully. Suddenly, she felt a drop of water on her head. "Rain?" she asked, mostly to herself.
"Me too," She chuckled, pulling him under the trees. It was almost like they were in their own protective tree bubble, if it made any sense. At least they were dry. "I know this seems sketchy," She said "But I'm not going to murder you here or anything. Don't worry."
"That's what they all said," She said jokingly, leaning into him. She pulled back the branches to look out. "Jeez, it's raining pretty hard, isn't it?"
"Hmm," She said, putting her hand on top of his. "I don't really wanna get drenched by the water, so how about we stay here?" She smirked playfully.
She stood on her toes to close the gap between them, smiling through the kiss. Her hand traveled up and down his spine.
She pulled away from him, walking and sitting down against the tree without a word. She patted the grass beside her, grinning.
She grinned, leaning down to lay her head on his chest. "Well, technically, we're not in the rain. But you're almost there."
