I feel like I'm usually the person who ends up not liking a buddy read, and it sucks to not enjoy a book as much as other people. But you rated it 4 stars and that's a good rating to me, since I am very stingy with my 5 star ratings!

I actually won Riley Sager's new book in a goodreads giveaway a few days ago, but it said to expect it to arrive late 😭

It sounds like the netflix version of The Haunting of Hill House and I am so excited to read it!

On another note I definitely wouldn’t have put the gun under the sink. I would have hid it under my bed so I can get to it if I need it!

(view spoiler)[ Wow. Everything is happening. I love the layout of the book. I like that we have how Jules is now and that we get to see what lead to how she is in the ‘Now’ chapters.

I’m starting to feel like we aren’t gonna find Ingrid. At least not alive. And to be honest this is creeping me out a little. I love it. Hopefully the ending to the book does it justice.

I loved that she got to see it demolished at the end and the thought of putting George in a museum for all the victims is a good idea. My only complaint is that she didn’t manage to burn the whole place down. I liked Charlie even though he was in on it all. (hide spoiler)]

I love how so many people read this book lol and for the most part really loved it. I’m reading my third book by this author now and I will say he is great at building suspense and keeping readers in the dark 🤓

I really need to hurry up and get to his other books too. I started Final Girls a while back and set it down like 45 pages in and just never picked it back up, although there was nothing bad about it. I don't know why I did that. But The Last Time I Lied really appeals to me and I expect to love that one the most, along with his next release.

Final Girls was actually the first book of his I read and I loved the intensity and how blindsided I was. The only bad thing I will say about the author is the first half of the book sometimes feels slow until out of nowhere everything picks up and you can’t put the book down. He’s really an expert of misdirection lol I would definitely recommend giving it a go again when the mood strikes, I think once you get over the hump you won’t be able to put it down 😜
