A girl lead - her room was decorated in lime green, purple and turquoise. I think there was a fish tank in that color scheme. She had a best friend who got into a car accident and couldn't go to school with her for a year (was home-tutored). Then the best friend got a boyfriend and was wrapped up in him. In one of the books they were the first class at a brand new high school and got to choose the school colors and traditions.
