First day of classes and the characters are already being put through some CHALLENGES! How'd you feel about the meter dash? It's interesting seeing how everyone is using their abilities to their advantage. Do you have a stand out ability so far? How do you feel about the way in which Midoriya is having to use his ability?

Nat (Notably Nerdy Nat) (notablynerdynat) | 10 comments I noticed how the only quirks they really show during this chapter are the ones of Izuku's classmates that he's encountered prior to the first say. Iida, Ururaka, and Aoyama were introduced during the entrance exam, and Bakugo in chapter 1.

Gianina (silentnicole) | 1 comments Gosh, its been awhile since I read volume 1 and seeing how these wonderful characters has developed.

To answer the last question, I think the author has done an excellent way of showing how Midoriya handle his knew found power. Its realistic in a way because he has not grew up with these powers that were given to him . The guy only gotten them a few hours before the entrance exam and a couple of days before he was accepted in school. Lets not brush off the guy that Midoriya is a genius when it comes to observing others powers, finding out how it works , and figuring out there moves. I'm not surprise that he is still figuring out ways to control his ever growing power. Dew, sadly we'll soon find out. Its through a lot of pain

Lauren Evatt (peerlessscarred) | 38 comments I like how he just used his finger. Coming up with clever loophole instead of going all out ever time is a nice attribute to his character.

I only just noticed that! We get everyone's name at least when Aizawa shows the results. I do kind of appreciate it though, just so we don't get 18 characters + their quirks dumped on as at once. Though, hopefully that means that we'll still get to know all of Izuku's class well enough.

Shane O'Sullivan | 8 comments I love the development Midoriya is already showing. Aizawa knows that Midoriya still can't control his quirk, but Midoriya proved his worth with the final throw.

Dominique | 34 comments I think that it’s a fair test. I mean, their quirks are part of them so why not be allowed to use them? I really liked seeing how all the students went ahead and used their quirks. It was pretty creative on how they used it for help.

Two quirks stood out to me. They are Ida’s engine quirk and Aiyana’s navel laser quirk. Idas stood out to me as this can make him go extremely fast (obviously) but I’m curious to see how he uses this quirk in a fight. As for Aoyama’s quirk, I just find it amusing.

As for how midoriya is using his quirk, I think he did the right thing with just using his finger. Now he’s not left broken and helpless and can still manage on with the rest of the exam. I mean it’s still terrible but at least he’s controlling the amount of damage done to his body.

darkestelement Midoriya is already showing development and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

YinYangReader | 4 comments I like how the competition shows how Ururaka's quirk could be much more powerful than first appearance. I mean she sent a ball into infinity! Imagine what she could do in a battle. Her quirk might not seem as flashy as Katsuki's but she is quietly deadly.

Kit (thebirdofinferno) | 35 comments I loved Midoriya’s loophole! Brilliant. Uraraka’s quirk seems, strangely, only useful in specific circumstances so I’m interested to see how that works in the future and how she’ll be creative with it!
