Barry Sutton is a police officer who becomes interested in false memory syndrome after trying to help a suicidal women with it. People suffering from the syndrome have memories of different events occurring in their life along with the life they are living. Helena Smith is working on a device that will store memories to try to stop alzheimers disease. The story rapidly becomes more complex but it is also a compelling page turner. There are a few parts that reminded me of Crouch's previous book Dark Matter but it is a unique story. I don't want to give much away since the book is newly released but I thoroughly enjoyed the book and am still thinking about issues it raised.

I need to get back to this. I started it last week but have been focusing on my other two books because it really draws you in. However, I have one beef with it only, but not because it isn't well written. I like it quite a bit better than Dark Matters.
I just finished this one too! 5 stars from me. I must admit I am a sucker for time travel but this went way beyond and asked more interesting questions. I was about half way through it when I came home from work yesterday and just plowed through it. I think this one was more mind-bending than Dark Matter.
Great to see this review Rachel. I loved Dark Matter so I'm glad that this one is equally as good. I'll save it for when I need a pick me up book.
